This past Tuesday, a few Grand Rapids Symphony players came to North Oakview for an in-school performance for our 4th graders!
The String Discovery Ensemble consisted of four violin players from the Symphony, and their presentation was based on "everything violin:" from the make up of the violin, the playing techniques involved, to the most expensive violin in the world! ALL of the 4th graders had the chance to play a violin that day, and students were thrilled to have the opportunity to do so!
Once again, a huge thank you to our North PTC for making this partnership with the Symphony possible!
